Does the air marshal program deter terrorism? TSA doesn’t know

A declassified government report reveals that the U.S. Transportation Security Administration has no data on the efficacy of its long-running air marshal program. The program, which costs $800 million and employs about 2,178 active duty air marshals, is supposed to provide deterrence and protection.
