Protecting tourists ships from acts of terrorism

Imagine taking the day off to join a sightseeing tour on England’s Thames river. Now imagine a terrorist launches an attack on your boat. That’s the scenario British police are fretting about. To prepare for the possibility, they’ve staged a major drill on a Thames pleasure boat. The exercise was not organized in response to any specific intelligence. It was merely meant to “test every phase of the emergency response” in case an attack should occur.
