Poor control of sea coasts gives rise to maritime security threats: Saudi official

Political crises, security gaps, and the rise of terrorism have led to serious maritime and border security challenges, says Awad Al-Balawi, Border Guards Director General of Saudi Arabia. Al-Balawi also cited the poor control of the world’s sea coasts as a factor in the rise of maritime threats.
