The likelihood of a large-scale terrorist attack just went up for 2017

The likelihood of a large-scale terrorist attack may have increased over the past year, according to the World Economic Forum’s latest Global Risks report. The group’s latest publication puts such an incident in the list of top five global risks for the coming year. This is the first time the Forum has named a large-scale terrorist attack as one of its top threats. Technological advancements are at least partly to blame for the threat upgrade.
