Twitter sued for being ‘weapon of terrorism’

Twitter is facing a potentially groundbreaking lawsuit. According to the plaintiffs, the families of three Americans victims murdered by ISIS terrorists, the social media agent acted as a “powerful weapon for terrorism.” They claim Twitter violated the U.S Anti-Terrorism Act by knowingly affording support for terrorist activity. The lawsuit, which was filed over the weekend, is a warning for tech companies whose platforms are used by terrorists to communicate and distribute propaganda.
