DHS warns of relentless threats against the U.S.

The U.S. faces a more formidable terror threat than at any time since 9/11, says Department of Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly. Homegrown terrorism, in particular, has grown rapidly, posing challenges for law enforcement agencies that try to predict and prevent violent attacks. “The threat has metastasized and decentralized,” Kelly said, “and the risk is as threatening today as it was that September morning almost 16 years ago.”
