The top global security concerns for 2017, according to CRF survey

Russia and North Korea top the list of security concerns that worry experts, followed by a major cyberattack on critical U.S. infrastructure and a major terrorist attack on the homeland. This year’s Preventive Priorities Survey, published by the Council on Foreign Relations’ (CFR), rates threats according to their potential impact on the U.S. and the likelihood they will materialize. The top four scenarios are high impact events with a moderate chance of occurring.
